The short version
- You're always in control of your phone. Lemo helps, it doesn't guarantee.
- Coins are for fun inside Lemo. They have no real-world money value.
- Purchases and refunds go through Apple.
- Be kind, be safe on quests, and only share photos you have the right to share.
These terms are the rules for using lemoapp.site and the Lemo iPhone app. We've tried to keep them short and readable. By using Lemo, you agree to them.
Agreeing to these terms
By visiting lemoapp.site, joining the waitlist or using the Lemo app (together, “Lemo”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Lemo. If you downloaded Lemo from the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply.
Who can use Lemo
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these Terms.
What Lemo is
Lemo is an app that locks the apps you choose and lets you earn coins by completing healthy “side quests”, which you can spend to unlock time. Before launch, lemoapp.site only offers information and a waitlist. We're constantly improving Lemo, so features may change, be added or be removed over time.
Your account
Keep your login secure and your details accurate. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account anytime in the app.
Screen Time and app locking
- Lemo uses Apple's Screen Time framework. Locks depend on iOS and may not work in every situation, for example after iOS updates, if permissions are turned off or if Apple changes the framework.
- You stay in control: you can change or turn off locks in iOS settings at any time.
- Don't rely on Lemo to block anything you might need in an emergency. Phone calls and emergency features are not locked by Lemo.
- Lemo is a wellbeing tool, not medical or psychological treatment. If you're struggling, please talk to a professional.
Coins and purchases
- Lemo Coins are a virtual in-app currency. You get a limited right to use them inside Lemo. They aren't money, can't be exchanged for cash or transferred, and have no value outside the app.
- We may adjust coin balances to fix errors or cheating, and we may change how coins are earned or spent.
- In-app purchases and any subscriptions are processed by Apple under Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, except where the law gives you other rights.
- Subscriptions, if offered, renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
Quests and photos
- Do quests safely and within your limits. You're responsible for how and where you do them.
- Photos you upload stay yours. You give Lemo a limited licence to store and process them only to run your quests and your account.
- Only upload photos you have the right to share. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, and never upload illegal, sexual, violent or hateful content.
- We may remove content or quest rewards that break these rules.
Fair use
Don't misuse Lemo. That means no hacking, reverse engineering, cheating the coin system with bots or scripts, reselling Lemo, overloading our servers or using Lemo to break the law.
Our stuff
The Lemo name, logo, mascot, illustrations, app and website are owned by Lemo and protected by law. You can't copy or reuse them without our permission, other than normal sharing like posting a screenshot.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Lemo great, but it's provided “as is”. We don't promise it will always be available, bug-free or that it will change your habits. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Lemo isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or missed notifications caused by locked apps. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit liability for gross negligence, intent, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
Ending things
You can stop using Lemo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, and we'll tell you why when we can. Unused coins end when your account is deleted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Lemo grows. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, let you know in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using Lemo after that, you accept the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in your local courts or consumer arbitration committees.
